International Student Admission

At 冰球突破豪华版游戏下载 we welcome all international student applicants. For admission purposes, any individual who is not a US Citizen or Permanent Resident is considered an international student.

 All paperwork for admission and the financial certification should be completed no later than:

Fall Semester- July 15th
Spring Semester- December 1st

Starting in Summer semester is not an option for international students.

Visa Information

F-1
F-1
F-1 students are eligible to transfer to other US institutions in the US upon degree completion. F-1 visa students must enroll in at least 12 credits of coursework each semester, 9 credits of which must be on-campus.

M-1
Upon completion of a certificate program, M-1 students are not eligible to transfer to another US institution and must return to their home country. Students may not change from M-1 to F-1 visa status while in the US and would need to return to their home country to apply for an F-1 visa prior to attending another US institution. 

Students holding an M-1 visa must be enrolled in at least 12 credits of on-campus coursework each semester. Students applying for an M-1 visa will eligible for one year of study.

If the student is pursuing an AAS degree, after the one year of study, the student must complete a form I-539 for an extension. This form and accompanying fee are the responsibility of the student.

  2. Immunization Records
    • Proof of two doses of the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccine (MMR)
    • Proof of one dose of the Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccine (MCV4) – given after the age of 16; required for all students 21 years and younger
    • Students from countries that have a level of high incidence of active TB disease are required to complete a TB screening immediately upon arrival to the U.S.  
    • All  international students are required to fill out the Tuberculosis (TB) Screening Questionnaire
       
  3. Official High School Documents or GED
    • All international high school credentials must be evaluated through an approved evaluation service – the evaluation is the sole responsibility of the applicant. High school transcripts require a General Analysis.

  4. Official Placement Test Scores
    • Official placement test scores are required for all degree-seeking students. The following placement scores are acceptable for admission requirements:
      • ACT test must have been taken within 5 years of the current year
      • Placement Testing have been taken within must be within 3 years of the current year
    • Students can also complete our placement test. Click here for more information.
  5. Official College/University Documents
    • All international college credentials must be evaluated through an approved evaluation service – the evaluation is the sole responsibility of the applicant. College/University transcripts require Divisional Course Analysis.

  6. Test of English Language Proficiency
    • International students are required to submit a test of English Language Proficiency. The most common tests that 冰球突破豪华版游戏下载 will accept are the following: TOEFL, IELTS, SAT Writing & English subset, or Accuplacer.
    • For other options to meet this requirement, please see NDUS Procedure 411.5
    • Students from Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia are exempt from submitting English Language Proficiency test scores.
  7. Copy of Passport
    • A copy of the personal information page from your passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the date that you will be entering the USA (requirement to issue an I-20).

Health Insurance

All international students are required to have health insurance in place. International students, not including Canadians, are automatically enrolled by semester in the student insurance plan by their institution. The premium cost is billed to the international student's Campus Connection account. Student health insurance payments will be collected in full no later than the end of the sixth week of a regular fall or spring term or equivalent date for a summer term or classes outside a regular term.

International 1042 Tax

Please be aware if you are considered a nonresident in the United States you may be subject to 1042 tax withholding. Taxable income occurs when scholarships and waivers awarded are more than tuition, fees, and required books.

All excess awards over the required charges are deemed taxable by the United States Internal Revenue Service. 1042 tax amounts are determined on your account each semester. If an amount of 1042 tax applies to you, a charge will be placed on your Campus Connection Student Account and a detailed email will be sent out, as well.
